Guide: How to Audit Your Current Marketing Agency
This is the same three-audit sequence Brand North runs at the start of every engagement, written here so any facility owner can run a version of it themselves, on their current agency, whether or not they ever switch.
Step 1The Account and Attribution Audit
Ask for a full review of current spend, campaigns, and whatever attribution already exists. The goal is an honest baseline: what's really being spent, and what it's really producing, not what the last report claimed.
Step 2The Technical and Schema Audit
Review the website's technical health and structured data: page speed, mobile performance, and whether each location is properly connected to its own verified listings and schema. A broken technical foundation undermines every other marketing effort built on top of it.
Step 3The CRM and Admissions Process Audit
Review how leads move through the CRM today: whether calls are tracked to source, whether insurance verification and disposition are being captured, and where the current process loses data or loses patients.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need special tools to run this audit myself?
No. Most of this audit is a matter of asking the right questions and requesting the right reports from your current agency and your own CRM, not specialized software.
What if my current agency won't provide this information?
An agency's reluctance to share basic account and attribution data is itself useful information about how transparent that relationship is.
Will more guides be added over time?
Yes. This section will grow as new guides are written, rather than launching with placeholder titles and no real content behind them.
